| Q | Is this a for-profit or charity zine? |
| A | Everlasting Oath is a for-profit zine. Any additional profit made after production & breakeven will be split evenly amongst the mods & contributors. |
| Q | What is the rating of this zine? |
| A | Due to the content expressed in Zhongli and Xiao's backstories (war, violence, slavery, abuse), this zine will be rated NC-16. |
| Q | How old do you have to be to participate? |
| A | The minimum age for applicants is 16 years old. Please note that as we will be transferring funds through Paypal, contributors under 18 must either have permission to use a parent/guardian’s paypal, or accept their compensation with bonus physical items. |
| Q | Will content that applicants create outside of the zine affect their acceptance? |
| A | So long as your conduct is respectful, we do not care what ships, characters, etc. you enjoy or have created for. |
| - | Transphobia, homophobia, sexism, racism, ableism, etc will not be tolerated. |
| Q | Is traditional art allowed? |
| A | Yes! As long you provide a high quality scan of your work and follow the template provided. |
| Q | Can I apply for multiple roles? |
| A | Yes! But we will only allocate one role per contributor. You may, however, be accepted as a pinch-hitter for multiple roles. |
| Q | How many contributors are you looking for? |
| A | We are looking for 20 artists, 5 writers, and 5 merch artists, inclusive of guests. |
| Q | Will the zine be physical or digital? |
| A | This will be a physical zine! |
| Q | What will the compensation for the contributors to the zine be? |
| A | Our goal is to provide all contributors with a full bundle of the zine if profits allow |
| - | If not, we will prioritize the break even for: Zine + Shipping, Zine + Shipping + Flat Merch, then full bundle. |
| Q | Are ships or other characters allowed? |
| A | Other characters will be allowed in your piece, so long as the main focus is ZhongXiao. We would like to refrain from having any other ships featured within the zine. |
| Q | Are AUs allowed? |
| A | Yes, they are allowed! |
| Q | What size is this zine? |
| A | This Zine will be A5 size. |

Application Guidelines
Hail, young adeptus. Thank you for your interest in applying to Everlasting Oath.
Please make sure that your works are ordered according to preference. This means that the works you would most like us to review are put first.Portfolio links should be easily accessible. A Google Drive folder is preferred but not necessary. Carrds, Ao3’s and other websites can be used as long as they are organised.The writing/art that you display in the application should align with the quality/style of work that you are planning to produce for the zine.Though works including ZhongXiao are recommended, they are not necessary. However, you must have at least one Genshin sample within your portfolio.This is a NC16 zine and the applications should respect that. We are not accepting NSFW samples and no NSFW examples will be reviewed if submitted. If your writing portfolio is an Ao3, you may have NSFW on your account as long as it is tagged correctly.
Page Artists
3 individual samples + a portfolio link
5-10 total works in portfolio. Samples can be repeated in the portfolio
Must have at least 3 completed illustrations across your individual samples and portfolio
Backgrounds are not necessary for this application
Writers
3 individual samples + a portfolio link
The portfolio must contain 4-6 works. Samples can be repeated in the portfolio
Each sample or work in portfolio must be between 1.5k-2.5k words
There must be at least 2 complete works between your samples and your portfolio. The complete works can in either your samples or your portfolio or both -- as long as there are two complete one-shots somewhere in your application
Excerpts of longer pieces are allowed! Excerpts still must be between 1.5k-2.5k words. We suggest that the excerpt is able to stand on its own with either minor or no context about the rest of the piece
Dark or mature themes, including suggestive themes, are allowed in the application as long as there is no explicit depiction of NSFW themes/topics. Content warnings are not required but appreciated
Merch Artists
3 individual samples + a portfolio link
5-10 works in portfolio. Samples can be repeated in the portfolio
At least one work must be a merch example
Mock-ups are accepted for this
Must have at least two completed/finished illustrations or merch samples across your individual samples and portfolio
If applying for print, one of your samples must be non-chibi style art
